(serves 2 - 3)
1 block extra firm tofu, drained
1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
1/3 cup pineapple juice (or 1/4 cup lemon juice)
2 Tablespoons PFSC Garlic Ginger Nori Blend
1 Tablespoon PFSC Smoked Paprika
2 dried PFSC Chipotle Peppers, deseeded and chopped
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil (optional)
splash of apple cider vinegar
pinch of sea salt
pinch of PFSC Golden Cayenne
olive oil

Slice tofu block in half length-wise. Place tofu halves on towel, cover with another towel, and weight down for 1/2 hour to remove as much water as possible. Cut each half into 3 equal “steaks.” Mix all remaining ingredients thoroughly in a pan with sides and a lid, or a ziplock bag. Add tofu steaks, marinate for 3 hours, flipping occasionally. Heat and oil a grill or sauté pan on high, place tofu steaks on pan when lightly smoking. Cook 4 - 5 minutes per side and serve with your favorite vegetables.
